Skelewu singer, Davido graduated from Babcock University today without attending a single class in 4 years if reports from his colleague are to be believed.

Social media commentators allege he finished with First Class Honors and ace comedian is having fun of it.

According to Basketmouth, he can be anything he wants to be if Davido can graduate with such degree. He said, "The news of Davido graduating with first class just gave me hope that I can become an Astronaut, Architect, Lawyer and a brain surgeon at the same time. Congrats bro."

Diezani Alison-Madueke Reportedly Undergoing Breast Cancer Treatment

Nigeria’s immediate past Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke, is undergoing a new round of treatment for breast cancer, according to a family source knowledgeable about her condition.

SaharaReporters reports that a disclosed that Mrs. Alison-Madueke is currently in a hospital in London where she started a fresh round of therapy on Friday. The treatment was described as a daily therapy that will last for one week, said the source. Mrs. Alison-Madueke left Nigeria on May 23 and has not returned to Nigeria since that trip.

The source also disclosed that Mrs. Alison-Madueke, underwent surgery last year to remove tumors from her breast.

There are two sides to everything Mr President and the only way you are going to take our dear Nigeria to canaan is by understanding this fact and knowing what to do with this information.

Now there are two sides to what Nigeria needs. There is your side, and there is the peoples’ side. You know your side, and it must be a really good thing you have planned because the mighty God I serve couldn’t have put you in this position by mistake **except of cause you think you got here by sheer luck or votes of the people** Taahh!
You have to know what the peoples’ side is Mr President.
What are our needs, what do we yearn for, what do we need to heal our souls, how can we put us on the paths that would help our dreams come true. We are the ones living through the severe hardship of our great country, We are the ones working for the country despite the inhumane conditions we have to work in. We have tried our best so far and we have done well. Just imagine how much further we could take this country to with your help and dedication.

If I were in your shoes, which I sincerely do not think I am worthy of, (I’d stick to my stilettos thank you very much) I would listen to the Nigerian people.
The only way you can change this country is by doing for us. If you do for us then you do for yourself too.

Today 1st of June is Independence day here in Kenya and I am staring out into the most amazing view of trees and greenery thinking how so beautiful this place is.
Take a trip Mr President, to Kenya. See bah, you don’t even have to go too far guy, only Kenya, our next day neighbour fa.
It is heaven here guy!! Not entirely though, because the people have troubles of their own too. They have security issues just as much as every other country does, they have corruption in high places too. But they are the most happy people I have ever being around. The place is soooooooo beautiful and life here feels like what life should be in Nigeria if we could just put in a little effort.
3 things I brought home with me from Nairobi?

1. They Love genuinely!
The Kenyans just love. They care about one and another and they do things, not just because there is something in it for them but because they believe when they do for one, they do for self.
Love.
This is what the Universe operates on. Can you inspire and instil the value of one love in the hearts of the Nigerian people?

2. They enjoy 24 hours electricity supply. Everywhere. If the power has to go off, the people are notified. You know what this does? You know what this means? This means that businesses work without the extra hustle that lack of power brings! And if businesses are working the people are successful. If the people are successful, the country is successful.
If you do not do anything at all, please give the Nigerian people constant power supply. I say this on behalf of every Nigerian. We all know how this can improve every sector of the Nigerian economy so I would not make this letter longer than should be by stating the obvious.

3. If you cannot do No.1 and No.2 I sincerely doubt you would be able to do anything at all. So lets keep it at 1 and 2 and when you have accomplished those, I’d write you yet another letter to tell you the third most important thing I got from Kenya.

Now I really like you guy. Prior to becoming the President, congratulations again, I heard a lot of things about you. Bad things. And some good. You know how people are, people talk, and boy was there much talk on your matter! I didn’t make any judgement of you however. I don’t roll like that. I have decided to make my own personal assessment of you myself based on what I experience during your time.
So far I think I like you. You are the kind of guy I could have my morning coffee with. With Mr Jega of course. I like that guy. Don’t lose him.

I was also thinking it would be a really cool thing to work for you. Like I said, I like you.
I could be your special adviser on youth affairs and extra-curricular activities. With my position and influence in Entertainment and Music, I am quite confident that creating a direct communication pathway between your government and the Nigerian youth would be an easy feat for me. Although I charge by the hour, I promise not to go overboard with my billing. Think about this.
Please note however, there are a lot of issues you have to deal with in Nigeria don’t get me wrong. Power is just one of them. There are issues with Education, Transportation, Corruption, Health services, Energy, Security…the list is endless and I’d hate to scatter your head just yet. You sef sabi this thing.
My Nigerian friends online are going to be sending in comments below this post to tell you what they want and how they think your Government can move Nigeria forward. Please be prepared there would be a lot of comments.
You see I have begun my duties and we haven’t even made my position official. I do this Mr President Buhari sir. I do this!

A tanker fully loaded with Automotive Gas Oil (AGO), otherwise known as diesel has exploded around the Idimu area of Lagos.

The incident occurred at about 12:30am on Saturday

Casualty figure remains unknown.

The National Emergency Management Agency(NEMA) spokesman, Ibrahim Farinloye has confirmed that officials of the agency and the Federal and State fire services have converged on the area to manage the situation.

The accident came four days after a similar one occurred in Iyana Ipaja.

Yes, I saw Bruce Jenner Vanity Fair interview. I read it over and over, it sounded so gutsy, sincere, truthful and so free. Bruce had always been married, had kids, and a successful career but for a long time he had never been happy and content with being a man. Sometimes we find it difficult understanding what prompts one to make those kinds of changes that are physically and emotionally permanent and we start to speculate, Maybe he wanted to rebrand, wanted to put himself back into serious reckoning again. Yes, sometimes it can be about the drama and the almighty dollars who is to say.

However, It just may be devoid of all those and just be a spiritual journey to finding self, purely a pursuit of happiness, about being free, and finding strength to be that which makes one feel complete irrespective of who's ox is gored!

My take:

It is not one’s masculinity or femininity alone that defines one’s identity, it is the harmony between the two that determines how comfortable and integrated one’s identity is going to be. In other words, shocking as this may be to the more macho in our midst, inside some men, lies an unexpressed woman. And even more shocking is the proposition that the object of masculine identity development is not the elimination of this woman, but acknowledging the existence of, and fine-tuning the feminine side with the masculine part of the identity. In other words, blending the two fundamental principles of yin and yang to influence our behavior.

The “masculine woman” has become more socially acceptable than the “feminine man”, who is still an object of derision. And herein lies the root of the gender conflict. Women find it easy to pursue their masculinity; men find it disagreeable to even acknowledge, let alone pursue their femininity. A few people have been able to find that balance and I am happy that Linda lives here, in me? Yesoooooo!
So to those of you in your personal pursuit for happiness whatever it is, climb every rainbow and follow every star till you find your dream.

31-year-old Man Rapes & Impregnates 11-year- old Child – PHOTO!

In a world where we thought having canal knowledge of an 11-year-old is something a grown man wouldn't do or try at all, is where 31-year-old New York man Jeffry Rosales, has admitted he had sex with an 11-year-old girl and got her pregnant and pleaded guilty to first-degree rape Wednesday as part of a plea deal.

A judge sentenced Rosales to 17 years in prison as part of a plea agreement.
One Tuesday Rosales faced up to two life sentences. He was charged with predatory sexual assault, which carries a maximum weight of 25 years to life in prison and also faced another 25-to-life sentence for second-degree murder in the June 2013 fatal shooting of Keenan Russell.

However, prosecutors dropped the murder charge against Russell on Tuesday after authorities arrested someone else who took responsibility for the crime.

Defense attorney Robert Macedonio says his client is satisfied with the plea in the rape case.

Rosales, who also faces a four-year sentence for a robbery charge, initially refused the plea deal on Tuesday but later changed his mind as the evidence against him was overwhelming and included DNA hence pleaded guilty just hours after jury selection began.

Authorities say he acknowledged fathering the child in several recorded jail phone calls between him and his family members and even the girl.

Petrol subsidy rises to N48.15 per litre

The landing cost of Premium Motor Spirit, otherwise known as petrol, was put at N119.66 per litre as of Tuesday, up from N75.15 on January 23.

It increased by N1.07 from N118.59 per litre on Monday, according to data obtained from the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency.

The daily subsidy on petrol, therefore, rose to an eight-month high of N48.15 per litre on Tuesday, compared to N3.64 on January 23, the agency’s pricing template showed.

The Federal Government had on January 18, 2015 announced the reduction in the pump price of petrol from N97 to N87 per litre, attributing this to the decline in global crude oil prices.

The landing cost of the product was N116.79 per litre on May 21, while the subsidy component was N45.28 per litre, according to the PPPRA.

There have been calls in many quarters on successive governments to fully deregulate the downstream sector of the oil and gas industry to encourage private investments in crude oil refining, as well as the privatisation of the nation’s existing refineries, which are working far below their installed capacities.
