Davido Confirms Collaboration With Meek Mill

Davido’s management have successfully negotiated a deal in place for him to collaborate with rapper Meek Mill. He described the deal as something he has been praying for all year.




We posted earlier about Davido’s manager and video director Sesan holding a meeting with Meek Mill last night (here) and now he has hinted he will be linking up with the rapper.

“been praying for something all yea!! and it happened last nite! i can't wait for the world to hear this !! team talkless” he said.

Frequent Usage of Paracetamol Can Lead to Heart Attack, Stroke and Early Death – NAFDAC warns

Nigeria’s regulatory body for foods and drugs, NAFAC has warned that the regular usage of Paracetamol can lead to heart attack, stroke and early death. It said the case applies to regular use of pain killers. Here is a press statement from the body.

The National Agency for Food Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) and the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has said that the regular use of painkillers especially, paracetamols could lead to heart attacks, stroke and early death, According to a study published in the Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases journal, patients prescribed high doses of the painkiller for long periods were 63% more likely to die unexpectedly. There is also a 68% higher chance of having a heart attack or stroke and an almost 50% greater chance of having a stomach ulcer or bleed.

Generally, Paracetamol is considered by doctors to be safer than Aspirin, which can cause stomach bleeds, and ibuprofen, which has also been linked to heart attacks and strokes. But in 2013, NAFDAC and the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) had alerted Nigerians that Paracetamol had been associated with risk of rare but serious skin reactions known as Stevens-Johnson Syndrome (SJS), Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis (TEN), and Acute Generalised Exanthematous Pustulosis (AGEP) which can be fatal. To this end, NAFDAC encouraged patients to report such cases to their health care provider, who will channel the complaint to the National Pharmacovigilance Centre, even as British researchers say the risks may have been underestimated and are calling for a major review to be conducted into the drug’s safety. Meanwhile, Philip Conaghan who led an extensive research conducted on patients who took Paracetamol daily observing its effects advised that patients being prescribed the drugs for long periods for arthritis or muscle and joint pain should talk to their doctors about alternative treatments, such as exercise.

Davido’s manager Kamal Ajiboye and video director Sesan have both joined the hit maker in the united states as he puts final works into his sophomore album. Davido is expected to list Wale on the album and now it looks like another MMG artiste is in the mix.

Kamal and Sesan both shared a photo from what looks like a meeting with the Philadelphia rapper in a bid to discuss collaboration and video terms.

Moronfoye is alleged to have used his position as the Senior Special Adviser to the former governor to enrich himself. Specifically, he allegedly awarded contracts to the tune of over N200million for the renovation of Ijagbo Primary Health Centre and the supply of medical equipments to Health Centres and Specialist Hospitals within the state, to a company in which he has interest. and was sole signatory to the account.

Saraki is also alleged to have abused his office and laundered state funds for his personal benefit by awarding inflated contracts to companies owned by his cronies. In one of the transactions involving the purchase of Ambulance buses for hospitals in the state, Saraki duped the people of Kwara State by procuring thirteen Hiace buses from a local car dealer and converting them to ambulance in place of factory built ambulance for which a contract of N171, 990,000.00 was awarded to Chemiroy Nigeria Limited
