Come May 29, 2015, Nigeria will have a new president in the person of Gen. Mohammed Buhari. INEC chairman Prof. Jega just declared him winner of the 2015 presidential election having certified the requirements of the law and scored the highest number of votes in the election. After announcing the presidential election results, Prof. Jega called all party agents to come on stage at the collation center and sign the Presidential election sheet by INEC, and every agent did except the agent for PDP. He climbed the stage, spoke with Jega, shook his hands and walked away without signing the result sheet

Africa's richest man, Aliko Dangote alongside other stakeholders have paid President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari a visit in Abuja.
Buhari was also joined by Former military leader, Abdusalam Abubakar, Primate Nicholas Owoh, VP-elect Yemi Osinbajo and others at the APC office in Abuja.
The All Progressive Congress Presidential Candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, will address the nation on his electoral victory.
The APC is already making arrangement for his address at its National Headquarter in Abuja.

Nigerian singer and the first winner of the Idols West Africa, Timi Dakolo is a happy man and the reason can't be far fetched as he's married to the most beautiful and adorable woman in the whole world.

Elder Peter Godsday Orubebe right now at the ongoing INEC’s presidential election collation in Abuja has disrupted the peaceful event as he claims INEC chairman Prof Jega is biased, tribalistic and not competent to carry out and continue the ongoing collation in Abuja.
He claims the election is not free and fair and PDP complained about so many irregularities in the northern part of the country and INEC did nothing about it. So he said the collation wont continue until something is done.
Elder Peter Godsday Orubebe was appointed Nigerian Minister of Niger Delta on 6 April 2010 when Acting President Goodluck Jonathan announced his new cabinet.
Erubebe became a Supervisory Councilor, and later Chairman of Burutu LGA. In July 2007, President Umaru Yar’Adua appointed him Minister of Special Duties. Later he became Minister of State for Niger Delta Affairs when that ministry was created in December 2008.
In January 2010 he said that the proposed 10% equity share policy on infrastructural development in the Niger Delta region would make vandalism and crisis a thing of the past.
In response, Jega has responded to the two major points he raised, first was that Jega refused to reply a petition raised, and explained that he can't be receiving petitions while results were being collated.

The Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, has declared dusk-to-dawn curfew on Port Harcourt, the state capital, hours after the Independent National Electoral Commission announced the result of the presidential and National Assembly elections in the state.
In a terse statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, George Feyi, the governor said the curfew will hold from 7p.m. to 6a.m.
“The curfew will continue till further notice,” a part of the statement said.
The declaration of the curfew comes amidst heightened tension occasioned by the conduct of last Saturday’s election in the state.
Mr. Amaechi and the All Progressives Congress had boycotted the polls over the failure of INEC to supply result sheets to many polling units especially in the party strongholds.

Luis Suarez has hinted that he could return to Liverpool one day, insisting that he will never play for another Premier League club.
The Uruguayan left Anfield for Barcelona last summer in a reported €102 million deal, but was back at his old stomping ground on Sunday, to feature in a charity match between Steven Gerrard XI and Jamie Carragher XI.
After the game, Liverpool’s official website asked Suarez if he would ever play for the Merseyside club again.
He replied: “You never know in football, but if in the future, I play in England again, I play with the Liverpool shirt on and not another shirt.”
Suarez made 133 appearances for Liverpool and scored 82 goals. Speaking on his return to Anfield on Sunday, he said: “It was great for me.
